I just came back from a 4 day weekend trip, the longest I've ever been away from our 1 year old pup and I got a triple dose of the welcome home face licks and tail wags than I normally do coming home from work. Could be just me, but the dogs in this video seemed ecstatic. Probably more so than usual.

I had a best pal once back in college that had a guide dog. I saw him and his dog every day during college. After I moved back home, he came to visit me a couple of years later.
At the airport, I hadn't yet reached the waiting area yet where they were coming off the plane. As soon as they come out the hall, the dog spots me coming way down the walkway from the terminal. The dog went nuts.
This dog is usually pretty professional acting and calm, but completely lost composure when he saw me. My friend just had to let him be a 'dog' for a bit to say hello before trusting him to guiding again.
Lets see your cat be this excited if you were MIA for 14 months...
